Cattlemen’s Association’s new fracking policy to allow landholders right to veto

The Northern Territory Cattleman’s Association (NTCA) has strengthened its policy on hydraulic fracturing by pushing for the right of producers to veto it on their land.

While the organisation has previously advocated for mandatory land access agreements between landholders and exploration companies, it has now expanded its policy to include the right to say no.
