2025 National Landcare Conference – Seeking Your Input!

Sep 27, 2024

NLN Acting CEO Darryl Ebenezer and Watergum CEO Rosalinde-Green Brinkman attended the first steering committee meeting this week for the 2025 National Landcare Conference being held in Gold Coast (21 – 24 September, 2025).

“We are getting excited about this year’s Conference and thrilled to be welcoming Landcare champion and ABC TV presenter, Costa Georgiadis, as the master of ceremonies,” Darryl said.

The committee are in the early planning stages and now inviting feedback through a survey about what people would like to see in this year’s program. Whether it’s speakers, field trips, event activities or content, community input will be valuable in helping shape the event to the current interests and needs of local groups and Landcarers from across the country.

Program dates for 2025 are:

  • Sunday 21 September – First Nations Gathering and NextGen Summit
  • Monday 22 September – Conference and Welcome Reception
  • Tuesday 23 September – Conference and 2025 National Landcare Awards Gala Dinner
  • Wednesday 24 September – Field Trip Program.

Early Bird registrations will open in October, offering tickets at a discounted rate.

For anyone interested in speaking at the 2025 National Landcare Conference, the abstract program will open in October and will be announced on our Facebook page and other social media platforms.
