National Landcare Network now official supporter of the National Strategy for Volunteering

Aug 19, 2024

The National Landcare Network is thrilled to announce our official commitment as a supporter of the National Strategy for Volunteering. By aligning ourselves with this important initiative, we are dedicated to advancing the National Strategy’s vision and strategic objectives. We recognise the immense value of volunteering in Australia, driving positive social impact, and creating a more cohesive society.

We value the opportunity to be part of a larger volunteering network, to share best practices and access research and resources to advance our own volunteer initiatives and better support our own members. By joining, we are also better positioned to amplify our collective impact and create lasting change in communities nationwide.

The National Strategy for Volunteering has been co-created by stakeholders from across the volunteering ecosystem and provides a blueprint for the next ten years that will enable volunteering in Australia to thrive. Thousands of stakeholders participated in online consultations, interviews, participatory design workshops, working groups, surveys, and a bespoke research project to build the National Strategy for Volunteering. The culmination of this process identified a unifying vision, three focus areas and aims, and eleven strategic objectives.
