Your Gift Grows a Greener Future for Australia

About Us

The National Landcare Network is dedicated to empowering communities, protecting our natural environment, and cultivating sustainable landscapes across Australia. Through collaboration and innovation, we work across industries and in partnership with government, First Nations communities and other environmental organisations to support local Landcare groups, drive restoration projects, preserve native wildlife habitats, and promote best-practice environmental stewardship for a thriving future.

How Your Donation Makes a Difference

Join us in nurturing Australia’s landscapes and communities through your contribution to the National Landcare Network. Your generous donation fuels essential programs, community initiatives, and conservation efforts across the country. Every dollar donated supports:

Planting native trees and restoring ecosystems Conserving threatened species and their habitats Training volunteers and supporting local Landcare groups Developing resources for environmental education and outreach Researching and implementing sustainable land management practices

Together, we amplify the impact of community-led initiatives, nurturing resilient landscapes for generations to come.

How Public Donations Are Used

All public donations are directed to the National Landcare Network Public Gift Fund. This fund is overseen by a dedicated Management Committee, which includes ‘responsible persons’ as defined by the ATO Endorsement Team. These individuals come from Landcare and other environmental organisations and ensure that all donations are managed with integrity and transparency.

Funds are allocated in line with eight key objectives outlined in our Constitution and aligned with the purpose of our organisation. Your support helps drive a wide range of projects that deliver real impact across identified priority areas.

When you donate to our Public Gift Fund, your gift goes directly toward supporting our mission. This includes:

Using donated money to fund our Landcare work Investing donations wisely to grow their impact (e.g. earning interest or rent) Keeping detailed records and issuing official receipts for every donation Covering reasonable admin costs that help manage the fund properly

Every donation is carefully tracked and used only to further our environmental and community goals. Thank you for helping us care for Country.

Donations over 2$ will be provided with a charitable donation receipt.

* The company has a policy of not acting as a mere conduit for the donation of money, shares or property to other organisations, bodies or persons.
