Down to Earth: 2 Day Sustainable Agriculture Workshop

May 25, 2025

Join FarmLab for an unconventional gathering of farmers, agribusinesses, investors, and innovators tackling the future of agriculture through soil, trees, and technology. Set outdoors in the New England high country this event will bring together landowners, the agrifood supply chain, and technology providers to spark meaningful conversation, connection, and collaboration.

Topics will include:
📍 Innovation and disruption – How do we harness emerging tools — from agri-tech to generative AI — in a time of rapid transformation?
📍 Climate change mitigation and adaptation – How do we rise to the challenge of a climate crisis already reshaping our regions?
📍 Social cohesion and community action – How do we foster trust, build collaborations, and ensure the benefits of change are equitably shared?

This hands-on experience will have participants hike, plant, sample, eat, and caffeinate while forging meaningful connections.

The event will take place Wednesday 18 June, 8am to 19 June, 4pm AEST at UNE SMART Farm Innovation Centre in Armidale, NSW.

Thanks to AgriFutures, tickets are heavily subsidized—making this an event you won’t want to miss!

Spaces are capped at 60, so don’t miss out and register today
