Get Ready for Landcare Week 2025 (L.I.F.E. – Landcare Is For Everyone) – 4-10 August

Jul 2, 2025

Landcare Week is just around the corner, and it’s time to celebrate the incredible environmental, community and wellbeing impacts of landcare across Australia. From restoring landscapes to building stronger, more resilient communities, this week is all about shining a light on the grassroots movement making a real difference.

Whether you’re new to landcare or already deeply involved, there are so many ways to take part, connect with others, and share the momentum.

Share Your Landcare Story

Help amplify the movement by posting your landcare experiences on social media. Tag @NationalLandcareNetwork and use this year’s theme, L.I.F.E. (Landcare Is For Everyone), to encourage others to join in. You can also access and share these branded assets to spread the word. Find them here.

Tell Us Why Landcare Matters

One of the most impactful ways you can contribute is by filling out the Landcare Week 2025 survey. Your input will help Landcare Australia, the National Landcare Network, and State and Territory Landcare Organisations understand what drives participation and how landcare is thriving on the ground.

Survey closes: 18 July 2025. Take the survey here.

Landcare Through the Lens

Got a photo that captures the heart of landcare? We’re calling for submissions that showcase the spirit of our landscapes, communities, and biodiversity. Your image—be it native wildlife, a thriving bushland, a local event, or a sustainable ag project—might be featured at the 2025 National Landcare Conference and shared during Landcare Week celebrations. And here’s a bonus: your landcare group could win a Milwaukee Chainsaw to support weed management work.

Photo submissions close: 1 August 2025. Submit your photo here.

Every post, photo, and survey response brings us closer to a stronger, more connected landcare community. Let’s make Landcare Week 2025 our biggest and most inspiring yet.
