Discover the Vital Role of National Landcare Network’s Member Peak Bodies at the Upcoming National Landcare Conference!

The countdown has begun! The National Landcare Conference is just around the corner, set to take place from Sunday, 21 September to Wednesday, 24 September. This event brings together landcarers, farmers, environmentalists, First Nations leaders, scientists, and community advocates from across Australia to share knowledge, celebrate achievements, and drive innovation in sustainable land management.

One of the highlights of the conference will be two engaging panel discussions on Monday, 22 September, featuring the CEOs of the National Landcare Network’s (NLN) State and Territory member peak bodies. These sessions, titled “Supporting the Frontlines of Landcare – The State and Territory Peak Bodies at Work,” will delve into the crucial role these organisations play in supporting over 6,500 groups and 160,000 members across the country.

The panel will shed light on how these peak bodies enable grassroots Landcare efforts to scale up, empowering communities to deliver significant conservation and biodiversity outcomes while addressing the impacts of climate change. This is a unique opportunity to gain insights from the leaders who are at the forefront of these efforts.

Come and have a listen and gain insights as CEOs discuss key questions:
