A fantastic panel discussion was recorded at Garma festival this August, with former CEO of Aboriginal Lands Trust and supporter of Landcare, John Chester, talking about Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) and how ICIP principles keep culture strong.

Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property – or ICIP – is a framework that describes all aspects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultural expressions. This can mean medicinal knowledge, language, artistic expressions and more. ICIP offers a framework for ethical engagement with First Nations people.
