National Volunteer Week 2025 – Resources Now Available!

Mar 18, 2025

National Volunteer Week 2025, happening 19-25 May with the theme ‘Connecting Communities’, highlights the incredible impact volunteers have in building inclusive and thriving communities.

Organisations and groups are encouraged to get involved and promote the event using Volunteering Australia’s digital resources—such as logos, posters, social media images, and more—to raise awareness about the vital role of volunteers.

Recognising volunteers helps them feel valued, connected, and inspired to keep making an impact. Whether they’ve been with you for years or just started, taking the time to acknowledge their efforts matters. Download and personalise a Certificate of Appreciation here.

Sign up to the Volunteering Australia newsletter for updates on National Volunteer Week. For inquiries, contact media@volunteeringaustralia.org.
