Submissions now open for the 2025 Landcare Short Film Festival!

For the first time ever, the Landcare Short Film Festival will be held as part of the 2025 National Landcare Conference celebrating the passion, projects, and people driving environmental change across Australia. This is your chance to shine a light on the incredible work being done in landcare and environmental stewardship through the power of film.

Landcare Australia is calling on filmmakers, community groups, students, conservationists, and storytellers of all backgrounds to submit short films that inspire, inform, and connect.

Get ready for an inspiring night on the Gold Coast for landcarers from all walks of life to celebrate the incredible work being done around the country.

Categories/film types include community action and resilience, environmental conservation, sustainable agriculture, First Nations stories, landscape restoration, future leaders, Junior Landcare, Coastcare, urban landcare, native fauna and flora, water and wetlands….and people!

Information on ticket sales will be shared in the coming weeks. This event will be open to both the public and 2025 National Landcare Conference attendees.
