
The National Feral Cat and Fox Management Coordination Program is running two free day-long online forums dedicated to sharing knowledge on effective fox and feral cat management. This will be a fantastic opportunity to engage experts, learn about new tools, and hear about case studies from around Australia.
Day 1 – Fox Management – August 20th 2025 commencing at 9:00am AEST
- Keynotes: Ben Allen on Ethics & Welfare, and Greg Mifsud on Total Predation Pressure.
- Case studies: Hear about fox management programs being undertaken to protect wildlife and agriculture in Fitz-Stirlings WA, Mansfield Vic, Minjerribah QLD, and Southern Ark, the largest ground fox baiting program in Australia.
- Urban fox case studies: Sunshine Coast Council, Perth Southwest Metropolitan Alliance.
- Tools & techniques how-tos: Aerial and ground baiting, cage and leghold trapping, rabbit control integration, shooting tech, trap alerts, detector dogs and den fumigation.
