The National Landcare Network welcomes Jen Quealy to the team, as Volunteer Landcare Facilitator, bringing over 34 years of experience in community Landcare. Jen will be working closely with states and territories to increase volunteer participation in Landcare activities and to assist in building meaningful partnerships and facilitating knowledge exchange across the diverse network of Landcare communities.

NLN Acting CEO Darryl Ebenezer and Watergum CEO Rosalinde-Green Brinkman attended the first steering committee meeting this week for the 2025 National Landcare Conference being held in Gold Coast (21 – 24 September, 2025). The committee are in the early planning stages and now inviting feedback through a survey about what people would like to see in this year’s program.

The Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry have expanded eligible industries to include cereal, broadacre crops, horticulture, and livestock.
